Scholarship Writing Workshop

Both WAI  and the WAI-NTX chapter are giving scholarship awards! WAI is offering 105 different scholarships, totaling over $1 million in award money towards various aviation educational pursuits, including but not limited to pilot, ATC, and maintenance training funds.

The local NTX chapter will offer around 10 scholarships valued together at around $15,000. We want our chapter members to have the best chance at winning any scholarship they wish to apply to, so we are hosting a scholarship writing workshop. We will have several experienced scholarship writers and past winners volunteering to help you craft your best scholarship essay yet! We can't wait to see you! Please read the workshop attendee requirements below before RSVPing and attending — scholarship applications close on OCT 12th.

Requirements:

• You MUST be a member of WAI to apply to the WAI scholarships (by October 1st)
• You MUST be a member of WAI *AND* WAINTX to apply to the WAINTX scholarships
• You MUST complete the above requirements to attend the workshop, if you are not a member sign up here, there are instructions will explain how to join both: www.waintx.org/membership
• BRING: Laptop, charger, and (if you want) paper and pen/pencil to work on your essays
