One fantastic benefit of your WAI North Texas chapter membership is that you are eligible to apply for scholarships! WAI-NTX and Women in Aviation International (WAI) both offer several scholarships for members to use towards aviation-related education and/or WAI's Annual Conference. Information and resources regarding scholarships can be found on this page throughout the year.

We encourage members at any stage in their careers, with an interest in pursuing these amazing opportunities for learning and involvement, to apply - thousands of dollars are given away each year to members just like you!

Eligibility

Please review the following eligibility requirements before applying for any WAI-NTX chapter or Women in Aviation International scholarships!

WAI NTX Chapter Scholarship Requirements:

Applicant must be 16 years or older
Applicant must be an active member of Women in Aviation International AND the Women in Aviation North Texas Chapter at the time of application and award to win.
Members of the WAI North Texas Chapter Scholarship Subcommittee or their families are not eligible for application or award of these scholarships.

WAI Scholarship Requirements:

Applicants for the WAI scholarships must be active members of Women in Aviation International (WAI).
You may apply for up to three scholarships.

Women in Aviation International Conference Scholarships:

We offer scholarships for the Annual WAI Conference! The next conference will take place in Grapevine, TX, from March 19 to 21, 2026.

Education Scholarships:

In proud partnership with our sponsors, we offer scholarships for education and flight training that can be paid directly to your educational institution.

Ground School Scholarships:

In proud partnership with our sponsor, US Aviation Academy, we offer in-person ground school scholarships!
