SCHOLARSHIPS
We're excited to announce our 2021 WAI North Texas Scholarships outlined below. Each application requires the following criteria be met for each scholarship you would like to apply for in 2021. All applications, resumes, and essays must be submitted using the Google links below.
Be sure to submit your application, resume and essay, via the linked Google Forms using the button below by 11:59 pm, November 10, 2020.
UPCOMING EVENTS
We will be hosting a chapter social every 2nd Thursday of the month. Be sure to mark it on your calendar!
November 12th
Join us for our annual Friendsgiving celebration! Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, things are going to look a little different this year. Normally we have a potluck, but to help keep everyone safe, we are asking individuals to provide food for themselves, if desired. Don't worry, the most important part will still happen: celebrating our WAI friendships!
Where: Founders Plaza! 1700 N Airfield Drive Grapevine, TX
When: Thursday, November 12 from 4pm to 7pm
What to bring: Lawn chair, blanket, binoculars for airplane spotting, and your own snacks!
WAI NTX will be providing coffee, hot chocolate, bottled water, and hand sanitizer!
*Please note there are not public restrooms available at Founders Plaza. The closest restrooms are less than two miles away at a Chevron gas station at 1098 Texan Trail in Grapevine.
**WAI NTX is closely monitoring the uptick in cases, as well as the weather for November 12th. Please watch this event page as well as your emails for updates on the event! Keeping our members safe is our number one priority! The backup plan will be a virtual happy hour on zoom if we are not able to meet in person!
December 10th
For our December social, we will be having a virtual cookie decorating party with Wild Flour Baking Co! Join us for a zoom call where Jordan from Wild Flour Baking Co will lead us through steps to decorate airplane and holiday cookies!
When: Thursday, December 10th at 7:00 pm
Where: Your house! (A zoom link will be sent to the email provided below once registration is confirmed)
Cost: $25 per kit
*Kits will include 6 full sized cookies and 2 mini cookies. It will also have 3 bags of icing, boxed up with instructions/ templates of what we'll be creating.
Two Step Registration!

2) Venmo $25.00 directly to Wild Flour Baking Co at @jord-ogden - Please put "WAI Cookies" in the comments section so she knows which event you are signing up for.
Once your registration is complete, a WAI NTX board member will reach out to you to schedule a time to pick up your cookie decorating kit. Please select which location you would like to pick up your kit. Cookie Decorating kits will be available for pick up a few days before the event.
