NORTH TEXAS CHAPTER
Our Mission
We are dedicated to the encouragement and advancement of women in all aviation career fields and interests.

We are an extraordinary group of individuals who enjoy sharing our love of aviation through engaging social events and helpful networking and mentorship activities. We inspire one another, learn from one another, and share in the joys and achievements of others with a passion for all things aviation.
Our diverse membership consists of aviation professionals and enthusiasts who provide support and guidance for women in all areas of aviation. We are hobbyists or have careers as pilots, aircraft mechanics, air traffic controllers, and a variety of other aviation-related fields.
We host regular get-togethers that include fun happy hours, private tours, and guest speakers from every aspect of the aviation world. One of our most remarkable events is the annual Girls in Aviation Day which focuses on introducing young girls to the WAI network. We also offer a variety of scholarship opportunities to women who are interested in aviation.
Most importantly, we have a lot of fun and help one another pursue our aviation dreams!
Women in Aviation International is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the encouragement and advancement of women in all aviation career fields and interests.
WAI members seek to inspire and stand for encouragement, continued education, and a whole lot of fun!
